We work with Boards of Directors, Investment Committees, Trustees and others responsible for the management of financial portfolios established to meet goals and objectives. Our involvement generally consists of:
- Developing well-understood investment policies and objectives that are consistent with how capital markets work;
- Constructing strategic plans that include specific goals, objectives and asset allocation targets;
- Identifying and implementing investment strategies that have the greatest probability of achieving the returns allowed by specific markets/asset classes at the lowest cost;
- Identifying markets/asset classes that provide incremental, cost-effective diversification; and
- Developing and implementing systems to measure and monitor investment results.
Our goal is for the decision maker to understand risk and how it is measured as well as develop reasonable expectations for return. Our work is based on a disciplined, quantitative methodology that is established from how capital markets work. We engage our institutional clients as often as is necessary to ensure the portfolio reaches its established goals with the highest probability.
